A glass dildo is a rigid, non-porous sex toy made from medical-grade borosilicate glass — the same heat-tolerant material used in laboratory glassware and high-end kitchenware. Why borosilicate glass

Borosilicate is the same glass type used in laboratory beakers, oven-safe kitchenware, and high-end coffee gear. It tolerates dramatic temperature swings without cracking, is significantly stronger than soda-lime glass, and is completely non-porous — meaning nothing absorbs into the surface, no bacteria can take hold, and full sterilisation is straightforward.

Temperature play guide

To warm: place the glass dildo in a bowl of warm (not boiling) water for 3–5 minutes. Test against your wrist before use — body temperature is the target, not hot.

To cool: place the dildo in the fridge for 10–15 minutes (not the freezer). Test against your wrist before use.

Never use a microwave to warm glass, and never go straight from cold to hot.

Care and storage

Wash with warm water and mild soap before and after every use. Glass dildos are fully boil-sanitisable — three minutes at a rolling boil for full sterilisation. Pat dry and store in the padded pouch or case the dildo shipped in to protect the surface. Inspect for chips before every use — if you find any, retire the toy.
